Business Center Since 1995
The owner, business economist Martina Scheel, founded her first business center on May 1, 1995 as a franchisee of IHR BÜRO. The new office building Am Wallgraben 100 in Stuttgart-Vaihingen was chosen as an attractive location.
The location was successfully established, but the bankruptcy of the franchisor in January 1999 meant that a new name had to be found. Martina Scheel decided on an office + business center. In January 1999, the office + business center was found on the Internet with a page for the first time.
Over the next few years, new office buildings were built near the Stuttgart-Vaihingen S-Bahn station. In December 2002, the office + business center moved to a larger floor in the new OFFIZIUM office complex (Liebknechtstr. 31-35 in Stuttgart-Vaihingen).
In January 2007, Martina Scheel became a partner in the ecos office center group, an association of owner-managed business centers. Since then, the official company name has been ecos office center Stuttgart.
In autumn 2011, the city library, the first building in the new inner city district of Europaviertel next to Stuttgart main station, was opened. In the years that followed, the Pariser Höfe (offices and apartments), the Milaneo (shopping center) and the Sparkasse Academy were built. Since March 2017, the office + business center has been located in the europe plaza building, an elegant and modern new office building between Milaneo and Stockholmer Platz.
From July 2021, entrepreneur Martina Scheel’s office + business center will appear with its own brand ePLAZA OFFICE CENTER.
